Our Founder Charlotte is a passionate and enthusiastic go-getter with over a decade of experience in PR, Social Media and Influencer Marketing for the culinary and nonprofits industries.


Michigan native, Charlotte began her career at a national PR firm with a focus in the hospitality industry, climbing from Account Coordinator to Account Supervisor. She later accepted the PR Director position at one of the country's top F&B communications agencies, leading a team to achieve transformative results.

In 2016, Charlotte founded Charleston’s first culinary social media club, @TastemakersCHS, which brings local restaurants, influencers, and nonprofits together under one umbrella. 

@TastemakersCHS is now comprised of 25 members with a combined reach of over 300,000 followers on Instagram and has partnered with over 60 restaurants to date- raising over $20,000 for 18+ local nonprofits.

Presley spearheads PR, Social Media and Influencer Marketing campaigns for Charleston's culinary and nonprofit industries. Her talent, drive and tenacity don't go unnoticed, and our clients are endlessly impressed with the creativity and unparalleled work ethic she brings to the team.

Among her many accomplishments, Presley has helped garner national media attention for Warrior Surf Foundation from the likes of Southern Living, secured endless partnerships, press and influencer campaigns for Springbok Coffee Roasters,  and helped grow Jalisco's social media following by thousands in her first month of work.


Maggie Vickrey,
Account Coordinator

Maggie joins the CharlotteBergerPR team after serving as the editorial coordinator at CHSToday and graduating from College of Charleston's Martin Scholars Program. 

Her creativity, work ethic, strong writing/editing skills, and positivity have taken her far in her role.

She has led the charge on PR, Social Media and Influencer Marketing for a host of hospitality clients ranging from Green Man Brewery in Asheville to 82 Queen in Charleston. 

Avery Gavornik,
Account Coordinator

Avery has a knack for creating successful PR, Social Media and Influencer Marketing campaigns that are just as creative as they are practical.


She has a talent for engaging and connecting with all types of personalities, is endlessly hardworking and driven, and is as organized as they come. 

She works with a variety of culinary  clients ranging from Pink Cactus and LoDi to Patois and Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack.





Lexi is a determined student at the College of Charleston pursuing a double major in Arts Management and Marketing with a passion for nonprofit fundraising! She has worked in the hospitality industry since she was 17, as well as ran her own Etsy store all throughout high school. 


Grace is a senior at the College of Charleston studying communication and psychology with a passion for social justice and culture. While being involved in the Martin Scholars program, Grace additionally is Event Director for her sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and runs an Instagram wellness blog. 

Anna is a rising senior at Elon University majoring in strategic communications and minoring in sociology. She is the Chapter Life Vice President for the Alpha Xi Delta sorority, and is in charge of planning events and initiatives, as well as fundraising and collaborating with other members.
